Kidnapped: Syriac Orthodox Archbishop and Greek Orthodox Archbishop
It is with great sadness and grief that we report the abduction of two prominent Archbishops: the Archbishop of the Syriac Orthodox Church Mor Gregorios Yohanna Ibrahim and Greek Orthodox Church Archbishop Boulos (Paul) Yaziqi, who are reported kidnapped by armed insurgents. Upcoming Prayer Meeting
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” (St. Matthew 18:20).
There will be a prayer meeting on Saturday, April 27th 2013 at the residence of Kurian Uthup and Merlin Uthup. Their address is 35 Tawn Cres, Ajax, ON L1Z 1H9 and will start at 6:30pm. We request all of our members to attend the prayer meeting and receive blessings from our Lord and also remember to bring your bible.
Photo Shoot Session
A free “Photo Shoot Session” will be arranged at our Church to take pictures of Family / Individuals / Committee / Altar Boys / Youths / Sunday School Teachers / Marthamariam Vanitha Samajam, etc. to be included in our decennial celebration Souvenir. The photo session will take place on Sunday, May 5th 2013 after the Holy Qurbana and will be done by Mr. Cherian Thomas who was kind enough to do this session at no cost.
We request all of our members to make use of this golden opportunity to shoot their nice pictures as there won’t be another day to do this.

Food Bank Donation
Every year we collect non-perishable/canned food and donate to Food Bank so as to supply food to those in need during Easter.
Many members have already donated items and we are collecting these food items on “Good Friday” at our church.
We kindly request all of our members to donate “Non perishable packed or canned food items” and make this Annual Food Drive a great success.
Mr. Philip Ancheril (Gee) would be willing to drop it off at the nearest drop-off location.

1. Hosanna/Palm Sunday ( March 24 )
- Namaskaram – 9:15 AM
- Holy Qurbono – 10:00 AM (Hosanna services in between)
2. Pes’ho/Maundy Thursday ( March 27 )
- Namaskaram – 5:30 PM
- Holy Qurbono – 6:00 PM (with Maundy Thursday services)
3. Good Friday Service ( March 29 )
- Starts at 9:00 AM
4. Easter Service is on March 30
- Namaskaram – 5:30 PM
- Holy Qurbono – 6:00 PM (with Easter services)
* There is no Holy Qurbono on Sunday, March 31st.
