The 8-day Lent (Ettu Noimbu) being celebrated September 1 to 8 is a very special time of the year for the faithful.  While we all pray and maintain the holiness of this noimbu individually in our homes there is definite reward in coming together in prayer.  In keeping with tradition from back home, the church will be kept open for anybody who would like to participate in joint prayers.  Below is a schedule of when the church will be open for prayer:

September 1, Thursday – 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
September 2, Friday – 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
September 3, Saturday – 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
September 5, Monday – 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
September 6, Tuesday – 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
September 7, Wednesday – 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
September 8, Thursday – 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.

The St. Peter’s Family welcomes its newest addition!  Soumia and Varghese Solomon (Varghesekutty) became proud parents of Tabitha Elza Varghese - born August 26, 2011.  We all share in the happiness of the family on this joyous occasion.
