Reminders for Upcoming Events

With the holiday season fast approaching, we sure are busy preparing to commemorate Christ's birth in a variety of ways. This includes material and, more importantly, spiritual preparation.

Food Drive: The annual St. Peter's food drive is still underway. Remember, every minute 12 kids die hungry across the globe!! Also, there is a shortage of food in the Toronto area food banks. So, make sure you bring your canned foods to church.

Christmas Carols: This year too the St. Peter's carolers will be out with their music visiting houses on November 20 and 27. Details and itinerary will be available soon.

Ecumenical Program: After a warmup at the Ecumenical Choir Festival in October, the St. Peter's family is invited once again to the Annual Ecumenical Christmas program to be held on December 4, 2004. Watch out for details on that.

Christmas Program: The scheduled date for the annual St. Peter's Christmas get-together is December 18. Details will be available soon.

With all this happening, and more in our personal lives, please remember not to lose the meaning of the season. Let's save time for our Saviour, count His blessings, thank Him for the good and the not-so-good, seek His mercy, receive His Love and share that love with our neighbours. And then we go have ourselves a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Ecumenical Choir Festival

The first Ecumenical Choir Festival will be held on October 16, 2004 Saturday at 5.30 P.M. at the Don Bosco Catholic School located at 2 St. Andrews Blvd, Etobicoke. Click here for directions. Our church is participating in this event along with six other Malayalee churches in the Totonto area. Come and experience an evening of worship music and fellowship. The St. Peter's Choir will, of course, be performing and be there to cheer them on!
