Holy Week Schedule

We approach the part of the year that calls for heightened spiritual awareness, introspection and prayer - a period that commemorates the passion, crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The following is the schedule of events over the next few days for us to participate in as a congregation:

April 12, Wednesday - Passover (Pesaha)
Time: 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.
(Appam will be served)

April 14, Friday - Good Friday
Time: 9 a.m. - 3.30 p.m.
(Lunch will be served)

April 15, Saturday - Prayer Retreat/Easter Service
1.00 p.m. - 5.00 p.m. - Retreat conducted by Very Rev. Corepiscopa Geevarghese Puthoorkudilil and Rev. Fr. Ephrem
5.30 p.m. - 6.00 p.m. - Evening Prayer
6.00 p.m. - 8.00 p.m. - Holy Qurbono and Easter Service
(Dinner will be served)

The retreat is for all of us to take a day away from our busy lives and spend it in prayer and meditation. This would be a sacrifice of our time offered to the Almighty. Very small compared to the Blood shed on that cross 2000 years ago!

April 16, Sunday - Easter Sunday
No event in church. Can be celebrated with family and friends!
